Only 4 inches of snow in only the eastern 1/4 of Kansas. The big lakes have open water, not 100% frozen, and the western half of the state here is snow free. We are going to have 4 days in the 40s too end the week here. Nebraska should have numbers by Monday, for we already have birds here.

Bad dog, the good news, if there is any, is that your neighbors are in the same boat. That means those birds are just going to have to wait longer to fly north. I understand that when they do, they will be trying to make up for lost time, but at least they cannot execute an end-around and by pass us all together. Stay patient and be ready!!

we most years try to start our season on valentines day.this year we have a foot of ice and a foot of snow with another foot predicted by the weekend.bad dog
